This garden was originally fully designed and landscaped approximately 10 years ago, and the original drawings were made available so we could see what plants should be there and what had self sown.When the clearance was complete the birdbath, patio and pergoda were clearly visible.

A small front garden that was “boring”. The client originally requested a small lawn but after we discussed the maintenance involved carrying the lawnmower through and the constant lawn care to keep an immaculate lawn, the client decided that plants with all year round interest would be ideal.

After removing the lawn and four large conifer trees on the boundary, we have managed to enlarge the driveway but also have a much more colourful, low maintenance garden. Using mainly evergreen shrubs for the structure and infilling with osteospernum and lavender, underplanted with spring bulbs and decorative fencing tidy up the boundaries.

| This was an area behind a residence, where a brick building had been demolished and then left bare. The client called to say he wanted it to become a garden. After a design was agreed, the landscaper then built to the specification, before we planted according to the planting plan. A garden was then created |
